Academic Advising is a critical component of all students’ educational experience. Our goal is to help you create academic plans that are consistent with your personal values, goals and career pursuits. We’re here to support you throughout your journey with course selection and academic planning and act as a resource to refer you to additional services.

Our Career Services team is committed to helping you advance in your chosen field. We offer a variety of resources to assist in your career development and planning, including resume and cover letter writing, job search tips, networking, career assessments and more.
Student Counseling Services (SCS) is a free resource, available to all Granite State College students, in partnership with APS Healthcare. APSHelpLink is your one-stop resource, available when and where you need it. Whether you are dealing with a day-to-day question or a bigger life issue, APSHelpLink provides you with tools and information to address life’s pressing concerns.
Granite State College Student Disability Services is committed to helping students become engaged, self-advocating, independent learners. We seek to promote accessible learning environments where students with disabilities experience equal access and full participation.
IT Support is available through self-service information and our IT Service Desk via the IT Help Request Form, email and phone number. Tips include setting up your GSC Accounts, using Moodle and your Go.Granite Email, computer, password and security tips and more.
For all of us at Granite State, “Military friendly” means dedicated professionals college-wide helping you be successful. Our incredible team can offer support about a variety of topics including: applying, transferring military training into college credit, accessing online courses, Military Benefits including the GI Bill and Federal Tuition Assistance, NH National Guard Tuition Waivers, and other resources and support.
Our Academic Support Center is pleased to offer free math, writing and general education tutoring options at all campus locations. If you require a face to face tutor, please complete our tutor request form. Online tutoring through Brainfuse is available to all students and offers a wide variety of subject areas.
Participate in an upcoming orientation! Our new student orientation is available on-demand for you to access anytime. You can also register for a selection of live webinars and other sessions specific to master’s degree and post-baccalaureate students.
As a student you’ve got a lot on your plate. Occassionally you may find that you need additional support when tackling online courses, managing your time, completing your course discussion forums and understanding the various course formats you’ll encounter while at Granite State.
