The Communications and Marketing Department leads institution-wide efforts to nurture and grow enrollments among our distinctive student community. Our goals are accomplished through enrollment communication strategies, digital marketing, major publications, advertising, internal and external communications, and cross-functional collaboration to support the work of individual units across the institution.
The Communications and Marketing Department works to foster cohesive messaging, style, and visual systems in order to achieve a recognizable public image and brand identity. The terms brand and branding are often misunderstood (even "official" definitions vary!), so in terms of Granite State College, a brand is what you convey through visual, verbal/written, and experiential messages and communications. When these three elements are consistent, the Granite State College brand identity will strengthen the understanding of our mission, purpose, and goals as an institution.
